As with all Novotel group of hotels, this one too is an economical bargain. The rooms are just enough for a couple,with a sparse storage facility.Cleanliness is good and room service is kind of ok,not much to be expectewd considering it is an economy class hotel.Close to the CBD area.Food at the restaurants is good considering the economical tag the hotel has.Stroll around the area in Ruwi and you wil find local food economical enough.Close to shopping areas.

Thr ruwi is conveniently located within muscat. It doesn't offer anything less than what can be expected for the price.
Hotel and rooms are all very basic but okay for a night or two if you don't want to spend too much money and won't stay in the room for anything else than for sleep and a shower.
The nightclub in the groundfloor is truly dodgy though.

This is one of the few hotels in the CBD. At OR 35 the rates are amongst the best in town. I had a room on the 9th floor on the mountain side (during the week) and the noise was not a problem. The aircom was quiet and although the fittings are a bit shabby they were clean and the staff attentive, even if service was a bit slow..

Stayed here for one night while transiting through Oman. The hotel is good value for money. The room is clean and comfortable. We stayed on the sixth floor and we did not hear any noises at all. Food at the hotel's restaurant is surprisingly good. The reception staff are not very competent.
