The welcome of sparkling wine or juice was very welcome. Staff was charming. BUT trying to get lunch one found that you could wait an awful long time. The best feature was the little garden which did not have enough tables or chairs, but if you were lucky enough to sit down the birds were miraculous. A birder probably would think that they could be found anywhere, but to see those lovely hanging nests with the birds busily feeding their young, the peace and quiet was lovely. The dining room is lovely and the service excellent. The food is good. Breakfast fine. My room was ok but the air conditioning did not work and the only window opened on to a parkin area so did not want to open it..

Our loud and unruly group of happy canadians arrived on Friday, September 30th. I had just discovered my only clear glasses were broken and the local optomitrist was closed for the day. They would only be open while we were on a tour on Saturday. The young general manager personally assured me my glasses would be delivered, fixed, and picked up from the optomitrist the next day by the hotel staff. Imagine my delight when this was done at no charge by either party. The barman was a sweetie, knew what a rusty nail was, and had the ingredient... Yippee! From our greeting on arrival, to the beautiful bowl of apples on the desk as we checked out, the Hans Hotel provided service that made us feel like celebrities.

Nico hotel in the middle of the town. The room was absolutely ok. Internet acces was pretty fast. The breakfast did include Oisters and was verry good!
