Said is a really friendly chap, and very helpful. The place is small, attractive and wonderfully located. Highly recommend

The staff, Saïd and Nezha, greeted us warmly and made us feel at home throughout our stay. Beautiful terrace for eating/drinking, lovely quiet rooms, and a feeling of security. there is less to see in the city than i expected, so it was wonderful to have such a nice home base at the maison d'hotes. Would recommend to anyone traveling to el jadida.

Clean rooms, great location within El Jadida, and a very chilled out vibe. The host Said is lovely and, as we were so tired, arranged for us to have shawarmas on the terrace with some wine. It was just what we needed and next time I'd love to stay longer than a night.

After making our booking we were sent useful maps of the riad's location which made finding it very easy, something quite rare in Morocco's medinas! We were greeted by Said, a very welcoming young man with perfect English, and shown around the small riad which is full of character and charm. The rooms were clean and simple, perfect for our short stay (though in hindsight would have loved to stay longer!). There are two terraces, one covered (handy for shade) and one open on the top floor with views over the medina rooftops out to the sea. El Jadida itself was lovely, no hassle at all so felt more relaxed and "real". The owner is planning to extend the riad next door so would love to return when it's finished as we felt very welcome there.
