A comfortable bed,pillows and a huge bathroom. Very helpful management and close to town. Happy customers

We were just looking for a simple and good value base in KK and chose Hotel Eden54 based on the tripadvisor recommendations. Our travel plans kept changing and Rosanne was flexible and patient with the arrangements. We stayed on two different dates and they were happy to store our bags when we were on an overnight trip in between. One room was a compact with no windows and the other compact with windows. There really wasn't much difference and for a single night it was fine without windows. Both were compact as described but comfortable with good bathrooms and contemporary design.
The hotel does not offer breakfast, but there are options in the surrounding areas including great smoothies from the fruit store just next door. The location is pretty convenient in easy walking distance to the bus station, waterfront and jetty.

We stayed on and off for 4 nights during our 2 week trip to Sabah last October/November (2011).

All communication with Hotel Eden54 (Rosanne Leung) was extremely efficient, timely and helpful. On arrival Ling Ling was always on hand to help out, organising our transfers and recommending trips. Piece of advice - if you are staying and planning a trip, e,g, the islands, I would check to see whether you can get any discounts through Hotel Eden54.

All three rooms we stayed in were clean and well decorated. No fridge in the bedroom which may be annoying for some, but there is a large communal fridge out in the hallway. Yes, they aren't the biggest of rooms and anyone travelling with a large suitcase may struggle, however, we managed fine with our rucksacks.

Hotel Eden54 is well located - it is extremely near to Jesselton pier and next to a supermarket and a fantastic cake shop. Having said this, it is a small walk to get to the night markets/travel centre/bars (e.g. 5-15 mins) which we really didn't mind. The area itself is after all not that large.

We were extremely pleased with our choice and highly recommend Hotel Eden54. I believe it is very good value for money - no they are not 5* rooms but that is not what you are paying for. You do, however, receive 5* service.

I stayed here for a night after fleeing from one hotel nearby. I was so mad at that hotel I just took the only available room in Eden54 because I've a tour plan to catch that day. I payed RM164 for the Twin Bedded room plus extra mattress. It's so small I've to adjust the space to store my things. I can't say much about this hotel because a night is not enough to judge it. What I know is the place has kitchenette, common area, free wi-fi & common fridge. The place is quiet at night. And Ling-Ling the manager is so friendly to us we wish we can stay there again next time.
