Having originally booked into the awful Tropicana Lodge, we were delighted to find this clean and spacious hostel, so obviously the best in KK. Great rooms with fan were good price. Wifi and internet, great local information, free noodles for breakfast, tea & coffee. Staff were fantastic and common room was great place to escape the heat and the rain. Great for a chill out, many thanks for a great stay!

I traveled to Kota Kinabalu frequently. Everytime I stayed at this place; clean, comfortable, friendly stuff, right in the heart of Kota Kinabalu, big lounge area for hang around, chatting, watching videos, TV and makes you feel like home.

This is among the first times that we disagree with other people on Tripadvisor. The private rooms in Akinabalu are made of concrete with windows facing the hallway. It really feels like a prison cell. The internet is slow and almost unusable in the rooms. People in the common area didn't talk to eachother. There was construction work in the common area all day which made it close to impossible being there to eat breakfast or checking the internet. On the good side there is helpful staff, two computers to borrow and noodles for brekfast (a change from the regular toasts-jam). We decided to change accomodation after two nights.

I stayed about 2 weeks at this hostel. It is verry clean room and bathrooms, a very spacious lounge room and kitchen. If do not have laptop you can use 2 internet computers, also free wifi. On the Gaya street, very close to sea and restaurants. All Staff was very friendly and helpful. If you need help to make your travel trip, they can help you. If you go anywhere and you go back, you can leave your big backpack there also. They have free lookers.

In lounge room they have just fan, no aircon, Sometimes very hot, you can not stay anywhere without aircon. In the room there is just one power point, need more. They have enough space, but no any cooking facilities, they maybe add the cooking gadgets.
