The room facilities not as I expected,tv channel is not as standard as international chain, the wallpaper in room, was not proper, the bath up has black stain here and there, it's annoy me so much, and the most terrible thing is their staff attitude is poor, I don't know why, is it because we are Indonesian people? It is so unprofessional.
We called the receptionist at around 11.30 asked for late check out until 13.00(which is I can have it in so many accor hotels) but the receptionist staff said, can give us only until 12.30. The phone rang twice at around 12.00, but I'm busy prepare my baggage, so I didn't pick it up. And someone came to my room, knock my door and I open it, she asked me whether I'm going to extend my room or not, I said no and reconfirm again that we asked already for late c/o till 12.30. And she said again, why don't u pick up the phone with the high tone voice and rude. I don't think it's necessary to ask that thing to me.
At 12.45 when I'm about to go to the lobby, the phone rang again, this time she thread me if I'm not c/o more than 13.00, then the system will automatically charge me RM150, which is I know there's no such thing, bcoz me myself is hotelier also. I know how the system works.
I wrote guest comment also to the GM, but I'm not sure that letter will sending to him.
So overall I will not recommend this Novotel Kinabalu to all of my friend and colleague.
