We got a nice deal at this hotel through booking.com and for that money it was well worth it. Breakfast was big and had something for everyone and much western food aswell.
The pool were nice though we just hang out by the private beach inside the hotel area that was pretty deserted so lots of space.
Be prepared that the hotel isn't situated on one of the big beaches or crowded areas but if you are looking to lie at the beach and don't mind taking a taxi when eating (though the thai-food restaurant at the hotel next door was great) then I'd defintly recommend it.

When you enter the hotel, you might just think that you've fallen in love with the hotel, but in the end it's nothing more than just a fling. Good location with a private white powder blue water beach, a sea side bar, swimming pool, beach view and garden view rooms (which are rather small in size) this hotel has it all. At the same time there are a set of negatives too. The first and the foremost is the indifferent attitude of the staff. Every gesture seems to be a favor that has been passed onto you, a gesture as small as wishing Good Morning or handing over the Keys in evening. The con is the breakfast, but that could depend on personal choices, which for an Indian like me are very limited in the set of options given on the menu. We didn't try much for the dinner, except for a pizza which was a notch less than terrible.

Verdict: I would have wanted to give three and a half, but being generous let's end up with Four stars for the location, ambiance and the beach..

Bad points:
1) No safe in room
2) Rooms are very old
3) Staff don't really go out of their way to help
4) I was given a recommendation for a restaurant that was no longer in business
5) Lack of sunbathing deck chairs on beach
6) Dirty swimming pool
7) 2 single beds joined together rather than a queen or king size bed
8) Noisy airconditioning

Good points:
1) Quiet and secluded
2) Shops and attractions within walking and driving distance
3) Clean beach

I got the feeling that staff just did what their supposed to do and nothing more. I won't be going back for sure, there are way better choices on the island.

We stayed here for only 1 night but it was wonderful. The beach was very clean & beautiful with white powder sands, the scenery was picturesque. The best feature of this resort is its beach (almost private, only the hotel guests, very quiet), very clean clear blue water, which is literally just 2 minutes walk outside your chalet. The cable car is also just about 15 minutes walk away.

The rooms & furniture overall can use an upgrading & refurbishment but our chalet room (1029) was fine, everything was in working condition & clean. Bed is comfortable & good selection of TV channels.

The staff was courteous however were not fantastic & friendly but everyone was courteous none the less. The breakfast food selection was good for the price. Its about 10 minutes to the airport (fare RM24) & a bit far from other attractions in Langkawi, other than the Cable Car & Telaga 7 waterfalls which are just a walking distance.

This resort worth every cents we paid & is good value for the price. Don't expect a 5 star resort when you are only paying 3 star prices. We would definitely stay here again & recommend our friends to stay.
