It was ok, the room was decent size, had a little fridge and a flat screen tv, comfortable beds, but everything else felt pretty old and worn down. The lamps, center console, plastic bathroom, very '80s. Could hear doors opening and closing up and down the hall. We got decent sleep though, the showers had good pressure, hot water, room was reasonably clean. My biggest complaint was no wifi in the hotel. After traveling through Taiwan and virtually every hotel having wifi, I felt a little stranded.
Location is great though, very close to the subway, a bit of a walk to Tenjin if you want to shop in department stores. Yakuin is nearby which is best for restaurants.
