Location wise this hotel was superb, literally few minutes walk from the main JR Nara station, and the other train station in town was not too far either. Plus, the deer park which led to the main temples was only a short 10 minute walk from the hotel!
The hotel is located on the main strip of Nara, so shopping and eating is a breeze, with the best restaurants and souvenir shops at your door step.
The hotel room size was very large for a Japan hotel, with a decent sized bathroom. The staff speak decent english, so if you do run into some problems with your Japanese phrasebooks you can put in some english words to make them undertsand.
I changed my holiday plans to specifically stay in this hotel (initially for its location) and I was glad i did, if going to Nara, this hotel is a must!

“A bargain”
Excellent hotel, large room, extremely convenient not far from station and tourists sites and shops
very quiet non smoking doubleroom with view, clean, large bartroom, tea amenities, cheap rates
Would definetely recommend it

Booked hotel last minute in Japan. Very friendly staff who can speak English. For standard room with two double beds, was only 11400yen (100 USD), a bargain!! Clean, well furnished rooms, TV, hotpot, refrigerator. About a 5 minute walk from the JR station. 10 minute walk to Nara park. Would definately stay here again!
