Todaya Ryokan was not just a stay, it was an experience. From the greeting, to the outdoor choice of multiple onsens, to the fantastic fresh local seafood, to wearing your yukata around the hotel, it was the ultimate experiance.

Large and spacious with more facilities than you can use.
Guest rooms are spacious with traditional tatami mats, futons and views of the ocean.
Greeting as you arrive is exceptionally friendly, all staff were friendly throughout.

Location directly across the road from Toba station - although they even have their own bus to take you the short walk to the hotel
Adjecent to the port where all the tour boats come in and out of from the various Islands

Management can speak good Engish
Food is exceptional in terms of choice, taste and presentation
There are various cafes, bars and karoke which we were too busy to even try
