This is my favourite among the hotels in Yokohama. It's located right in the heart of Chinatown, the Motomachi shopping area is 10 minutes walk away, the habor 10 minutes.
The rooms are big and nicely furnished, not like worn out beds etc. you sometimes find at other places.
But the best is the staff: I have rarely seen more friendly staff

The staff and accomodations were excellent. We have stayed at other properties in Japan and this was above the rest. The location is good for being central to the waterfront and China Town. The staff was most accomodating with the number of changes we had with rooms. We were in Yokohama for a wedding and people were arriving on different days and the number of attendees fluxuated up until the last day.
I will stay at the Rose again when I travel to Yokohama.

My wife and I stayed at the Rose Hotel for 10 days and found it to be a great place for service, location and room cleanliness. Right beside Chinatown, a short walk to the harbour and the JR station so the location was perfect. We did not eat at the hotel but Chinatown offers a fantastic choice. We will return without question.
