Overall very new and good hotel, in a a good loccation, and very goo for bysiness,
I have mixed feelings about this hotel. On one hand rooms were well equipped, very quiet and immaculately clean. However then rooms are extremely small, staff English is non existent and apart from the well equipped rooms the hotel has no other facilities such as a gym, restaurant, bar, business centre etc. In summary they are nice cosy rooms if you just need somewhere to stay, but not much to pass your time while you're there!
A fantastic hotel and exceptionally well located for trains, the subway, buses, the airports and restaurants. What more do you need - for business or pleasure. A comfortable nights stay.
This hotel is quite new, the style is modern and I think very sleek. Rooms are slightly bigger than the standard Japanese box-sized room, catering to foreigners and Japanese business and vacation travel. Breakfast is in a club room and is good, adequate choice. This room is open until 10pm with free coffee, drinks and just to sit and work. Hotel lobby is on the 12th floor of the station building. There are a large variety of good restaurants on 11th and 12th floors, and a food court on the 2nd and 3rd, plus numerous other locations around if you are more adventurous. Limo bus drops here, 1.5 hours. For train (N'Ex) you need to change in Yokohama.
I was quite amazed that the train station of Shin-Yokohama had a hotel complex within. Trust the Japanese to optimize space indeed. This hotel is a gem. Great location, good bus service at regular intervals to and from Narita.
We had our meeting in Japan, and were checked into this hotel by our Japanese colleagues.
The room was super, overlooking the Shinkansen train platform and tracks :) What was particularly interesting was the toilet seat, which looked straight out of a science fiction film, with all sorts of gadgets to pamper your read-end. The hotel staff was very courteous, although we struggled to make conversation.
Overall, a great hotel, good location, and will surely come back for the next meeting.
Ah, the only drawback was no food, except vending machines, which wasnt the best, especially as I arrived pretty late in the night.
