Before reading the review below i think it important to highlight the following facts. Firstly the holiday was not expensive so we were not expecting a great deal from the hotel, and secondly we are positive people who try to make the most of any situation. This said the Hotel Sandra is without doubt the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. The biggest issue is the food which is very very poor and so repetative, you only need to look at the guests faces in the dining hall to see the dissapointment time and time again. Food is recycled and whats not used one day is poorly disguised with a different garnish the followimg day. We stayed two weeks and were forced to eat out a good proportion of the time as the food was so bad.This is not what you expect from a so called all inclusive hotel. Next the bar, this is far too small for the size of the hotel and there are frequently long lines you have to wait in if you want a drink.. The hotel operates a two drinks per person rule so if you want to get drinks for a group of people you cannot unless other people join you in the queue, They dont provide trays, i wonder why?.

Everything about the hotel is geared to providing things on the cheap, from the cheap poor quality drinks and small glasses of beer to the appalling food and standad of hygiene. My partner picked up a nasty bacterial infection that needed to be treated with powerful antibiotics on our return. I witnessed glasses not being washed and then reused and staff not washing their hands after using the toilet.

I do not drink alcohol and had to confront a barman who had been counting the quantity of bottled water he had given me, a conversation with the manager followed regarding this matter.Bar staff frequently lied to guests saying they did not have any bottled water whilst you would sit and watch as a staff member walked up and was given as many bottles as they wanted.

The beach is a short distance from the hotel and was covered with cigarette ends, its also worth noting that even though this is an all inclusive hotel the only thing you get from the beach bar free of charge is water, everything else has to be paid for. Its not surprising that the hotel really promotes the beach parties so you end up paying for your own drinks all night.

The staff at the hotel were not helpful and simple issues that should have been resolved quickly dragged on for days, this caused a lot of frustration.

In conclusion this hotel is very poor and i really hope you heed my words and book somewhere else to stay. The highlight of the holiday for me was when the coach pulled up to take us back to the airport. This is a short review and there were many other things i could mention including the dirty rooms,terrible scalding showers, and the awful air conditioning but i think you get the idea of the Sandra Club.

I was very happy with the service and the standard of the hotel. I have read other reviews complaining about the food. However, I found the food in the hotel to be very good, there was a large choice of different foods to eat at all sittings. The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful and the hotel was very clean.

I was impressed by how many activities were on offer, especially keep fit and exercise, there were three classes available every day by the pool.

well what can i say you spend all year saving , you spend money on something that is your one and only holiday ,you wait paitiently and get excited when the day arrives . But when we arrived we wanted to come home. We read a few reviews before we went and we thought like you do that people sometimes exaggerate and complain over the top but when we arrived there we agreed and wanted to come home two days into our ten day holiday. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE unless you want to be on a diet all week because if you eat trust me you will be ill within three days. My partner and i were poorly for the rest of the hols and now we are home we are going to the drs mon as we still feel unwell. Do not go outside the hotel not even to the beach as you get hassled by guys who either want you to go into there shop,buy fags,buy fruit,have a ride in their horse and cart or camel or taxi and you can even be hassled to buy drugs as we were the night before we came home.tv in the room well you only get english channel from 7pm to 12pm. drinks all inc you only got their own vodka yuk whisky yuk and coffee coke (watered down) and orangeade.glasses where few and plastic beakers were given. knives and forkes in the restuarant again if you didnt sit first ran out and you had to scramble .Thats if you fancied a secound visit to the (lovely) food.NOT.

this is my forth stay in the sandra club, but wont be going back as it was worse than ever.....
me and my son arrived at midnight they gave us a room on the third floor yet the lift was broken so i kicked off, they eventually gave me a ground floor room....
food was terrible my son was ill from the lunch so we ate out everynight...
the room was invaded by ants yet when mentioned to reception it got ignored.
the bar staff and animation were great, did work hard to keep the guests happy
