Hotel is typically Tunisian hotel with 3 stars. It is clean as much it can be clean, by Tunisian means. Guests are mostly French people, so food is french oriented and basically it is OK and it is very colorful. You can chose between couple of different meals.
Staff - waiters are not so trustful because thay will try to cheat on price of drinks you have during the dinner, or lunch. You have to be careful with them. They also speak poor english so they hardly understand what you're saying. Regarding cheating, in my case, the waiter told me one price, and the restouran manager another price, which is lower. So, after that the waiter got no more tips from me. Reception staff speak english poorly. Also, I had problems with changing euros in dinnars, because they either didn't have enough money, or they were doing some settlement of accounts, so I had to go in adjacent hotel with four stars to change money.
When you are getting a safe in reception you have to give 20 euros deposit. So, 15 minutes before leaving the hotel and heading to airport, I returned safe key and claim my deposit and they returned me 30 dinars instead of 20 euros in euro bills as I gave them. Btw, 20 euros is 36 dinars. They took 6 dinars convincing you that everything is OK and that you get what you gave.
First thing tourist guide tells you when you arrive in Tunisia is to ask for a kind of receive note when you change euros at reception. Well, reception staff in this hotel won't give you that and they will try to convince you that you don't need that to change dinars back in euro at airport, which is NOT true. They even told me that they have machines at airport that will change my money back to euros.
Hotel doesn't have a private beach which is large minus because you have to sneak into other hotel's private beaches or go to public beach where you have to pay for parasol and chair for lie down.
Hotel is cca 30 meters from railway. Taxi is located also 30 meters from hotel.
