“Picturesque....”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 February 2012

This resort is beautiful in terms of the ambiance, decor, pool and gardens. You really feel like you are in a tropical oasis. We stayed in a pool villa which was lovely, the room certainly had wow factor with the mirrored tiles in the bathroom (which may sound tacky but it actually wasn't... they managed to pull off the hollywood look/feel quite tastefully and worked it into the decor, which was traditional but with modern influence pretty well)... the mozzies were a bit of an issue because of all the water & gardens, but the staff were very quick to provide us with coils and spray and have professionals spray the rooms quite frequently and after that they weren't too bad. Our villa was closest to the road so was a bit noisy, but there is not much the resort can do about that, and the benefit is that you are close to everything. Breakfast was great, staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were clean, overall great value for money. If you need to access the internet though, bring your own device/laptop as they don't actually have computers for guests to use.

Room Tip: Ask for one back from the road a bit

“One of the best resorts to stay in”

Only stayed 3 nights, arrived at reception where they told us we had been upgraded to the Honeymoon Suite all because I rang ahead from Bangkok and requested a large bed. The room and ensuite were wonderful, the biggest bed I have ever slept in and the decor was gorgeous. In the private courtyard attached to the room was a huge bath, candles and lounges. Aircon great. The staff were happy, helpful, courteous and well spoken. The food in the restaurant was excellent, and every night thai dancers in authentic costumes entertained the guests. The resort consisted of wonderful gardens, swimming pools and I could not fault a thing. Very close to Patong Beach and night life. One of the streets nearby at night is closed off. Full of bars, go go girls, pole dancers and transvestites, and 1000's of people give this place a real buzz. Something I won't forget. I love the Burasari...

Room Tip: There are some rooms that open onto a beautiful swimming pool, so if you aren't on your honeymoo...

“Very Happy, Good Choice.”

The Burasari was great. The staff were very nice, polite and helpful. The room ( Classic ) was a good size and very clean. The Resort itself is very close to EVERYTHING ! . The beach, the markets, the bars, pubs, restaurants ect.
Breakfast each morning was very nice. Had dinner there once and enjoyed it. All in all, a very nice place to stay in Patong.

Room Tip: Short walk to Bang La Road, where it gets wild and crazy at nights !

“"BELOW AVERAGE"”

We stayed for 9 nights, the best things about Busasari are the location and the two restaurants on the premises Kantok and The Naughty Radish both serving very good food at reasonable prices. Our room was in need of a refurbishment and had a view of the kitchen roof, we also experienced a robbery in our room where money was taken from the safe. We reported it to the management who just brushed it to one side, I believe it could be a common occurrence. The hotel has two small swimming pools but there is a lack of sun beds I counted 28 in total for a hotel with over 100 rooms no where near enough. We also got eaten alive one late afternoon around the pool by the bar. Would we go back to Busasari? NO

“Great hotel prime location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 February 2012

Stayed here 4 nights and can,t imagine staying any where else.We had a pool room which has direct access from our balcony into the pool. Room was spotless and the bed was soooo comfy. Literally a less than a 1 min walk to Patong beach. The included breakfast was great with eggs cooked any way you wanted. A laundry service next door with 1 kilo for 50 baht. Each room came with a beach bag and towels which was a nice touch.2 beer 4 pop and bottled water in the minibar free of charge. You cannot see the beach from the hotel. Two pools complete with chairs and fountains. Some members of our party of 10 did have some mosquito bites from around the pool area at nightime so insect repellent would be a good idea if you are staying in a room with a poolside balcony. The hotel actually was spraying one afternoon when we were their so they do have some preventative measures in place .
Bangla Road was a 10 minute walk along a sidewalk overflowing with shops and vendors selling everything you can imagine. After doing this once which was a lot of fun, we chose to walk on the beach side of the road.
Never ate at the hotel as we were so close to lots of restaurants and bars that we went out every night. We had prebooked a shuttle from Phuket airport to Patong but shuttles are easily found at the airport, about a 30-40 minute drive depending on traffic. They have a tour desk set up and can arrange and suggest lots of things to do. We went to the beach and hired a longboat who took us snorkeling at rock island and then to banana beach. If you do decide to go out in a boat if it is too windy I would wait for another day, as the sea was very choppy and the ride a bit rough at times. Went elephant treking which was a lot of fun.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing into the pool area as the view facing outside is of tin rooftops and the road...
