Don't hesitate when booking your Phuket accommodation. This is it. Novotel made all the difference to our trip. Away from the hustle and hassle of central Patong, yet close enough (within walking distance or use the hotel shuttle) for shopping and dinner. Metres away from the beach. Five star apopearnace and ammenities , great pools and spa facility, excellent food and service and activities for all ages. I was lucky enough to get this on a wotif 50% sale so it was a win win situation. Wonderful buffet breakfast, upgrade to a seaview room with an awesome scenic aspect across the Andaman, thai massages, welcome cocktails and buffet dinner all included.What more could you want.

We stayed at Novotel for almost a week in February.
All the services were up to standard and staff was very polite and professional. We liked it there even though our TV showed mostly programs in Thai language :)
Food at the restaurants was super and the variety was great. Plus free transportation to and from the beach, and a free car/mini bus to and from a shopping centre. Our room had a nice view of the harbour and a big balcony. There is no lift in the hotel but we came to exercise and had no trouble getting to our room on the third floor.

The hotel is situated right at the far end of Patong beach and quite a walk away. The grounds are impecable. The rooms have seen better days and could do with a lick of paint to bring them up to date. The housekeeping staff are faultless and the barstaff great. Check in and check out is a little awkward. There is a lot of single/twin rooms so if you prefer a double bed like we do, then arrive early. I would not recomend this hotel for the less mobile, it is built into the hill, the conceirge will take you up and down to the main road but each building is staggered into the hill further up and there is a lot of steps everywhere you turn. Great views though-I suppose you can't have it all. Pool is gorgeous.

stayed here in feb 2012 on holiday- definitely would recommend to people travelling to patong- it's right on the beach, although there is a wonderful 3 tiered pool to bathe by if you don't fancy leaving! room service food was tasty and easy on the wallet, as were the drinks! staff were very friendly and helpful recommending tours and restaurants. they also have a great range of free activities like muay thai and cooking to help guests experience the culture.
