We stayed here for twelve nights which I think is unusual because most people stay for a few nights on their travels We were looking for a place with good accommodation, in a rustic / attractive rural location with a pool, within walking distance of a town or somewhere to go in the evenings. I checked out the hotel and the local area and town of Pai on the internet and it seemed to be just exactly what we were looking for. We were not disappointed. The food was good, the service was good and everyone was really helpful and lovely. We really liked Pai too. It has lots of nice places to go to eat. It is very ethnic. Plenty to do. We did a 2 day trek to a hill tribe village. It was a great experience and we didn't see any other tourists on this trip, but beautiful scenery. Also did all the usual stuff, rode an elephant for three hours and played in the river with it.
We hired a motorbike for a few days and went out through the countryside for more amazing scenery and rural villages. Had a Thai massage of course
I was concerned that some previous tripadvisor reviews said the pool was dirty. It was cleaned every morning while we were there and it was great to chill out by the pool in the afternoon. So peaceful, and such a beautiful location. I would certainly stay in this hotel again.
