“It is as good as you think it's going to be”

We were very excited to be staying at this hotel after reading the reviews and we were not disappointed.

Wonderful hotel and the best service. We had a really relaxing time here. The rooms are huge and the beds massive! It's the best hotel that we have stayed in, and we have stayed in some great places.

If you are thinking about booking, go for it. It's worth the money!

We also recommend booking a kayaking trip with http://www.seakayak-krabi.com/ as they were also excellent. Nosey Parker elephant trip and the whitewater rafting is also great. You can book those two at the hotel.

Amari Vogue: Perfect to relax and enjoy Krabi

We are so pleased we chose this gorgeous little hotel, set on a private beach area of Tubkaak beach. We have some friends who have also been here and all they told us how perfect their stay was, so we had to come and see for ourselves.

We arrived to Krabi Airport and had the hotel’s airport pickup waiting for us: a nice driver who offered us cold towels, drinks and a selection of music in the minivan. Check in at the lobby was fast and informative, more cold towels and drinks (they understand that you need them!) and the view is so stunning – you can already get an idea of your beach view from the Lobby! We were welcomed by the friendly General Manager, Simon who gave us a few ideas of what we could do during our stay, in the hotel and also in the area. A very personal welcome.

We walked through the garden to our room, what a gem! The gardens have all sorts of exotic flowers and bushes, ponds everywhere. Seems very well designed, pools and little hideaway corners for a quiet moment. The room gives a private feel, large balcony, not overlooked. A very large and comfortable bed. Everything was clean and fresh. Housekeeping made sure our washbasin was neat and tidy and turndown service was sublime with a special, home-made, sweet goodie every evening.

The managers Simon and Michael who seem to be there all the time with advice or just for a chat and all appears perfectly set for a relaxed stay. The spa is heaven-sent and also quite large it seemed for such hotel. We went 3 times and loved it. In Ao Nang you can get foot and Thai massage cheaper but it’s not the same.

The beach is excellent (though the water not very deep), the trips to Hong Islands are a MUST and we also went to Phi Phi for a day.

We will be telling all our friends. Thank you.

Have just returned from an idyllic 5 days at Amari Vogue. We enjoyed total peace and quite and relaxed completely. Little needs to be added to the previous peoples' comments. I would just add that the food and alcohol were excellent and reasonably priced considering the remoteness of the hotel. Yes, you can get cheaper in An Ong, but you have to remember where you are, the efficient service and the hygienic conditions it is prepared in.
We were uncharacteristically lazy all holiday, induced by the very hot temperatures and the attraction of yet another perfect day lazing by the pool. Temperatures are set to be very hot for the next few months so high factor suntan lotion is essential for pale skins.
We used the fitness centre every day and found it suited our needs and was little used.
We visited An Ong once and couldn't wait to get back to the Amari Vogue and comfortable surroundings.
There were two families there with very young children, who were happy to splash around in one of the pools. Older children who need entertaining would be very bored. More a couples hotel.

“ONE OF THE BEST HOLIDAYS WE HAVE EVER HAD”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 May 2010

We booked our trip with Dreamticket again as they were quite a bit cheaper than the Travelbag Asia. The resort only has around 50 rooms, which is what we normally go for, as we do not like crowds.
We have never done far east before, so we didnt quite know what to expect. This was also the first time we have ever done B&B only, as our travel agent recommended that. She was quite right. For all our food, our coctails etc. during our 2 week stay, came to an incredible 700 pounds; we did not try to save money by any means either. Quality of the food was very good. I must say that people looking for pay 3-star prices, should go and stay in a 3-star hotels.
We flew with Thaiairways, and I must say the the amount of leg room we had in economy, was just incredible. There was no on-board entertainment, which made the journey feel quite long. However, the service and the food, was actually not too bad.
The staff were just amazing. Always smiling and happy to help. They would bring you icewater by the pool or beach every hour or two, fruit, ice cream etc for free. That was a nice touch, and made us feel looked after.
We did 2 trips which are definately worth dong, elephant trekking and Phi Phi island. We also had a long massage each at their spa, and those 3 things combined for both of us came to around 180 pounds. After doing Maldives and Cuba the last couple of years, this holiday was an amazing value for money. Cant wait to go back again !!!
