The Krabi Beach Resort was our last stop in a 3 week holiday in Thailand and we had decided on Ao Nang because although we wanted to visit nearby Reilly Beach, we didn't want to pay the price to stay there.
After some initial problems on check in (we had specifically asked for a double bed, but instead were initially given a room with two single beds pushed together) which were sorted quickly we instantly settled into a ground floor room by the large swimming pool. The hotel itself is huge comprising several building over a large area of land. It also has the distinction of being the only hotel in Ao Nang with its own beachfront, and the only place on the beach were you can lie on a sunlounger (a big plus point believe me).
We only made use of the restaurant for the breakfast buffet included in our rate, which was extremely good with a wide range of local and international options. In the evening we found the restaurant a touch on the expensive side and preferred to make use of some of the excellent alternatives on offer in the town of Ao Nang itself.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning on staying in Ao Nang for more than one/two nights. The beach access alone is worth the slightly higher cost than surrounding hotels.

The accommodation was excellent, gardens lovely and overall service good.
Very well appointed place with breakfast overlooking the sea.

Returning travelers to this lovely resort right on the beach at Ao Nang, Often difficult to find the correct resort as other hotels have similar names. This has been really well updated since out last visit. Renovation of the old accommodation seems complete. At the back of the resort there is still some new building not quite complete We were upgraded to bungalows with their own pool These were lovely and clean and very spacious. The other seafront bungalows in row A and B also have been refurbished and especially the bathrooms sorted out unfailing friendliness of staff although English is not always understood. Breakfast is OK although not the best we have ever had. If you are late you can always order what has been finished but this is not clear.
Best thing is location right on the beach and just walking out onto the sand and into the water. Very safe All rooms and areas very clean. Excellent value for money. We will certainly go back again
