We stayed for 7 nights. The resort is extremely well located to all restaurants and shops. Has beachfront frontage but the sea was quite rough and the slope into the water at high tide may discourage swimming. Some hotel rooms are becoming a little dated and in need of painting and maintenance however our stay was quite pleasant with no difficulty.
This was the low season and their were few guests about with the swimming pool etc basically to ourselves. Breakfast was adeqate and other than this we did not eat at the resort. Happy hour at the bar is for cocktails only.
Would probably stay their again.

Not impressed with Krabi Beach Resort. Expensive by southeast asia standards. Staff seemed very cool few smiles. Stayed 2 nights enjoyed the beach. Breakfast slow state breakfast available until 10 but each morning when ask for bacon informed all gone. Slow wait for eggs to be made to order. This experience turned us off even trying t eat dinner here with so many alternatives in the area. Nice bungalow in garden area. Must pay for Wifi. But really was not impressed with Ao Nang area. Just to busy with so many tourist. Maybe shoulder season would give hotel better review.

The Krabi Beach Resort was our last stop in a 3 week holiday in Thailand and we had decided on Ao Nang because although we wanted to visit nearby Reilly Beach, we didn't want to pay the price to stay there.
After some initial problems on check in (we had specifically asked for a double bed, but instead were initially given a room with two single beds pushed together) which were sorted quickly we instantly settled into a ground floor room by the large swimming pool. The hotel itself is huge comprising several building over a large area of land. It also has the distinction of being the only hotel in Ao Nang with its own beachfront, and the only place on the beach were you can lie on a sunlounger (a big plus point believe me).
We only made use of the restaurant for the breakfast buffet included in our rate, which was extremely good with a wide range of local and international options. In the evening we found the restaurant a touch on the expensive side and preferred to make use of some of the excellent alternatives on offer in the town of Ao Nang itself.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning on staying in Ao Nang for more than one/two nights. The beach access alone is worth the slightly higher cost than surrounding hotels.

Recently returned from a 4 night stay at this resort.
We had a beach front villa.
The accommodation was excellent, gardens lovely and overall service good.
Very well appointed place with breakfast overlooking the sea.
