A great place to stay for a weekend outside of Bangkok. Beautiful decorated raft rooms on the river Khwae. A nice experience to sleep on the river. Best of all it is great value for the room. As far is I know the only floating raft hotel in this area with full facilities, rooms have aircon, electricity, hot water and free wifi. They have a very original swimming pool inside the river, a unique idea not seen elsewhere. Staff is very helpful and service minded. The food is good quality for a reasonable price. Only downside is that Thai people like to turn the radio on in the restaurant upstairs, Asians somehow like noise. When it is quiet it is a great place to have a dinner and drink in the evening and enjoy the great sounds of the jungle.

This is a very well designed and maintained property with all amenities - one of the best 'smaller' resorts we viewed in Kanchanaburi. The rooms are very spacious and airy with all modern amenities (excluding TV, to minimize noise). The best feature is a terrace in front of the room to laze the day away by the fast flowing Kwae river. Across the other side is a bamboo forest.

The 2-storey reception area and restaurant is beautifully designed with nice views.

The most unique feature is the floating 'swimming pool'.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Wifi is included!

Location is in Saiyoke just 2km from the highway; approximately 40 minutes drive to the stunning Erawan Waterfall NP (avoid weekends if possible).

One area of improvement could be the food / breakfast. A little on the pricey side by Thai standards and just average taste.
