This is one of the nicest guesthouses I have stayed in during my travels. I got a very friendly welcome from John and the family, and was made to feel at home during my stay in Hua Hin, which ended up being 3 weeks! Also really liked the furniture, it really gives the place its own character, much more personal than other hotels. I would recommend this place to everyone, for the warm welcome, as well as the good location and friendly service. Also the free internet and water was very much appreciated and saved me some cash. This is probably the best place to stay in Hua Hin, and one of the best in ThaIand.

Loved this place, fantastic service and a friendly family vibe make it a real home-from-home! The owners John and Rooney attended to any request I had, from providing first aid to getting live tennis on the big screen TV. John is a knowledgeable and interesting host, with more than a few stories to tell Im sure!
The Kings home is full of curios - paintings and ornaments abound, which for me at least, adds to the homely feel. The place is a 5-10 minute walk from the beach, but a 2 minute stagger from the main bar area, which is great at the end of each night!
This place might not be everybody's cup of tea (Which is free, along with fresh coffee, drinking water and internet!) but the welcome is warm and the rooms are v. clean and comfy. Air-con is available if you need it. The outside area is nice with a garden and small pool, it's bliss to sit out with a cold Chang, feet dangling in the water after a hot day on the beach!
If your looking for somewhere with a bit of character and some extra amenities than a basic guesthouse, this is the place.

John the owner found us wondering the streets of hua hin and told us about his guest house, so we decided to check it out. John and his wife are the nicest people you could ever meet on your travels, they made it feel like a home away from home and even got us discounted travel to our next location.

We got a great ceid mile failte from John and his lovely family. During our stay we had everything we needed. A nice room with shower, television and airconditioning. A good breakfast every morning and the freedom to make tea or coffee whenever we wanted. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Go raibh mile maith agat John {a million thanks}.
