The guesthouse is situated off the main road, down an alleyway which opens up to a small garden with a number of tables and trees, and a row of simple but nice looking rooms. The garden is very inviting, and we saw many guests whiling away their time in it. A bonus is that you can get beers/ drinks and for the majority of time food from the helpful staff.
Rooms were simple with a wet room attached to a nice sized sleeping area. Bed were big and comfy. They were clean, however the blanket we used on one of the evenings as it was a bit chillier, did not appear as clean as the rest. The shower was basic and had to be held in order to aim it at yourself as the clip on the wall aimed it at the wall.
Sheets and towels were not changed throughout our four night stay.
On one of the days we were stuck as to what to do with our time, the guesthouse owner suggested we hire out a moped and gave us a few sites to see. She advised us where to hire from, and was generally very helpful. Needless to say, the day out was fun. She will also book your excursions for you from her immense book of everything possible to see in and around the area.
We walked throughout the town of Chiang Rai soon after our arrival, and discovered our guesthouse was situated in the best area. It was walking distance to the night market, and off a road with plenty of well priced bars and restaurants.
Great value for money.
