“Popular but pricey for what it is”

I've stayed at this hotel a few times and it is nothing at all special. Best to get a slightly better room and pay a bit extra but even there don't expect a lot. The hotel is old and if this hotel was in Chiang Mai it would be lucky to get half the price it asks. Breakfast is not wonderful either. There is a lack of middle hotels in Chiang Rai it seems. The bed was comfortable enough, but they should update the rooms by spending a bit on new showers or perhaps new TV's. On the plus side, the free internet flew at a speed I have never witnessed in Thailand. Staggering.

“An middle aged hotel, good services.”

This is an 27 year old hotel locate at center area of Chiang Rai, opposite to ChiangRai night bazaar.
Good side of this hotel are services, room cleanliness (if you not concern about its age, but they are reforming), location and value.

“Very Basic but clean”

My stay in this hotel was short but it was mostly pleasant. My room was very clean however it was a little dated with older appliances. The airconditioning was old and therefor took a while to cool the room down and everytime you left the room it turnder off. The room i was in over looked the smoking patio...literally anyone on the patio could walk over to my window and look in. It definately wasnt the best hotel i stayed in but it wasnt the worst either.

“Try to avoid - only for a night stop at best”

Very socialist block-style business hotel, unfriendly staff, average rooms (clean but not up to international standards). Poor breakfast in strange-looking "eating hall". Would not go back. We only used it lacking alternatives on site.

Should be free internet and maybe 1000 bht / night is the right price.
Stayed 2 nights only. Recommended because of the location.
