Stayed here a few weeks back,have stayed previously a few years ago.Rooms then were quite pleasant.However they really do need a freshen up.
The rooms are numbered 1-15,number 1 being closest to the lift and 15 furthest away.I asked for a quiet room and was given 14,which was perfect and I had no disturbance at all.The room had Double bed,Air Con,Ceiling Fan,TV, quite a big fridge,and a small balcony.and was clean and reasonably priced at 750 baht per night.There are discounts if you stay longer the sign on the front desk was Nightly 750,Weekly 700 per night,and the monthly rate was 1950.which i,m assuming was 19500
I was a however disapointed this time in the Hotel cafeteria.I would not be put off by this however as the surrounding area abounds in very good reasonably priced eatery's.
The pool is not the biggest but quite nice.
The Hotel is situated in Soi Lenkey which runs between Soi Bakou and Third Road (Sai Sahm).the area now boast numerous drinking bars,dancing bars etc.Its a short walk to the beach 5-10 minutes.Regular baht buses(Sawng Tel) also run up and down Soi Bakou to the junction near Walking street (10 Baht).There is Parking but its very limited.
I would stay again as I do like the location,I just hope they have the decorators in soon.
This area is not really for families, but more one for the lads.

having been to Pattaya twice before i decided to stay at the Opet De Place this time upon recommendation from a friend. upon arrival the reception staff were very helpful and polite.
i booked a pool view room which is slightly more expensive than the standard room but the better view is worth it. the room was spacious, huge king size comfortable bed and air conditioning. i couldn't fault the room and it was cleaned to a high standard daily. excellent swimming pool and enough sunbeds to always be available to use. pool never got crowded at any time and was always immaculate. food in the cafe was always good and i never had a bad meal. ideally situated in the heart of Pattaya close to all the main bars & restaurants. definately wouldn't stay anywhere else in future.

I stayed here with my thai wife and 2 kids for 9 nights. I've stayed here many times before but the last time was about 2 years ago. The hotel is in a great location, far enough from the madness to be quiet but only a short walk or baht bus to get into it.
The rooms are a standard size (800 bt)and there are bigger available (900 bt) and a couple of 2 room suites (1000 bt) they have all you need, fridge, sat tv, very comfy bed, air con etc. The room was very clean and apart from a few mozzies ( rainy season) had no insect life.
The pool area is lovely and well kept. the small restaurent does basic thai or western food for a very low cost. and there's a lock box area for valuables.
The staff are brillant, friendly, always smile and help with everything from problems, to taxis. for example. one day the aircon unit started leaking water. I went to the desk and told them, 3 minutes later a bloke appears with a ladder and tool bag. Fixed the unit (blocked overflow pipe) dried it, put it back together and as he left, the cleaner entered and quickly cleaned up any mess. total time from complaint to finish, 15 minutes.
For a budget hotel in the middle of pattaya you can't go wrong. Good value, good location, good staff.

This hotel was reasonable for the price. It is in a decent location not too far from walking street and there are bars and places to eat nearby. One drawback at this hotel is that there are no room safes.

Overall if you're looking for a cheap hotel that's decent this one is good value for money.
