The Andaburi is a nice and very clean three star resort hidden behind the main street in Khao Lak. Rooms are spacious and well maintained though lacking any real ambience - they basically could be in any hotel around the world.
The hotel also has a very nice pool area with swim-up bar. Sunbeds around the pool are very limited and quite a few of the hotel guests seemed to have had the very nasty habit of "reserving" them with a towel before they went to breakfast for the entire day. With the beach beeing quite a bit away this is a shame.
There is also a restaurant on site which I never tried with many great places beeing just around the corner on the main road and at the beach.
All-in-all the Andaburi is an OK choice if you are looking for very reasonably priced accommodation in Khao Lak with it's clean rooms and OK facilities - that is if you don't mind driving around Khao Lak if you want to get to the really nice places. That said I would certainly stay elsewhere next time.
