Roika was the only night we spent at a lodge during our 7 day safari. It's really a lodge - the "tenting" is in name only and is lovely and otherwise in doors. Everything was very comfortable and the staff and service professionals we're excellent. We had a really delicious dinner as well. Was a great break in all the camping during our safari.

Roika Tented Camp is a really nice and comfortable place to stay after a long day of Safari! The bedroom and bathroom are really spacious and very comfortable!
You really feel that you are in the nature. Elephants are never far away, which is the reason why Masai walk you to the dining area.
The staff is really helpful and caring.
I can mostly recommend the morning walk with some Masai staff through the nearby Masai area. They really explained a lot of the culture and the traditions of the Masai people!

All in all we can highly recommend the tented camp! We had an awesome stay there!

We experienced 1 night at Roika, wich is a very nice tented camp near the entrance of the Tarangire Park and very close to a Massai small village.

Rooms are spacious and well decorated, food is excellent and staff very smily and dedicated.

Nonetheless the pool did not look usable (not very clean).

We do recommand the Roika Hotel for a great game in the Tarangire (where we had a great game, with numerous lionness and elephants).

We were only staying here for one night but we enjoyed it very much. The room was lovely and the facilities were very good. It was very quiet when we were there but the staff did everything they could to make our stay special. We loved the turn down service on the basis that we had chocolate bars put under our pillows as a surprise. Each tent has it's own theme as well which was a nice touch.
