This hotel gave me a pretty room with nice carpet and furniture. There were full amenities in the bathroom. There was even a scale, slippers and extra pillows. The hotel was quiet, but right in the middle of everything. It's rated 4 stars by Taiwan standards, but I would give it a 3* rating by USA standards. It's not perfect, but it was very nice and almost anyone would be happy here. They offer non-smoking rooms as well. The TV had 4 local channels and pay per view movies only; nothing was in English. The power goes off when you leave the room, even power to the mini-refrigerator. I'm not sure what the rate was, because it was included as part of a 5 day tour around the island.
