My husband and I stayed at the Cinta Inn on our recent trip to Bali for the more adventurous leg of our honeymoon and we were very happy with our choice. This lovely boutique hotel is tucked quietly behind a cozy and delicious open air restaurant and lounge, which opens directly onto the famous Monkey Forest Road that is lined with restaurants, casual bars, boutiques, and shops selling handcrafted items from the island. Eating at the grill can be added to your room tab (very convenient) and the food was always fantastic - a mix of local and international fare, great cocktails and great prices with nice ambiance. Breakfast is included with a wide range of choices, fresh juices, and the best cappuccino we had in Bali. The staff was always friendly and helpful, with many being able to speak English very well. There are two floors of rooms (ground level and upstairs), and we found our room to be newly furnished, spacious and tastefully decorated, with a quiet balcony overlooking the pool and a large modern bathroom featuring both a bathtub and a shower stall. The style is modern with charming Balinese touches. The pool is not large but is very well-maintained, beautiful and long enough for a good, cool swim at any hour of the day or night. I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a quiet boutique hotel at the center of the city with access to a clean and delicious restaurant at a great price to quality ratio that is within walking distance of all major Ubud attractions and pick-up points for tours.
