Booking a room was totally hassle free as we were assured a room through a mail.We reached the hotel at 6.A.M and we were welcomed at the door with a warm smile.There are a vast array of rooms to select from - all reasonable.We selected a non A.C double room for Rs.800 and it turned out to be a highly comfortable stay, The reception desk was really helpful in guiding us through our entire stay. Our room was spotlessly clean, bed linens and towels were changed daily.Toilet was roomy and clean.The hotel has Wi fi, laundry service etc.But it does not have a restaurant but has room service.It has a menu card and whatever you order will be brought to room.The hotel is situated in the old city in the midst of a busy shopping area, but tucked away in a quiet corner which we found so useful.Address: near Anklesharia Hospital, opp. Electricity House, Relief Road, Lal Darwaja. room was clean, staff were ever smiling, food was good. but room lacked ventilation. a little small. .very good location close to Lal Dharwaja and in the lane opposite to Electricity House. very convenient to hire vehicles or catch bus.- murali

We stayed there one night and it was quite good. Clean but a little worn. Due to the rainy season a little bit stuffy, but that`s India. Very friendly staff but not really fluent in English.
We paid 800 Rs non/AC.
It was easy to make an online-booking, which is a relief when you have to be somewhere in time. We got an immediate confirmation even several weeks before the booking date.

The “Hotel Volga” strategically located in the heart part of Ahmadabad city and around 3 km from Ahmadabad main (Kalapur) railway station. Its just in between House of MG and Electrical house.
