We stayed at this resort and to say that it was a pleasure and the most enjoyable family holiday that we have ever had ( and we have travelled throughout the world) would be an understatement. I have never been so relaxed from the moment we arrived and everything that was prepared for us from the child minding to the food to the resort was nothing short of amazing. I am loath to tell everyone about this place as it was truly somewhere where we would like to keep it as our little secret. Once we returned to Australia people who hadnt known I had gone on holidays said that I looked so relaxed- Any wonder with the amazing time we had there and the staff and bookings were nothing short of being such a simple, easy experience that only added to the relaxing holiday. We are heading back to this resort without hesitation next year- Peaceful, relaxing and nothing short of an amazing holiday- Thankyou.

We had the most amazing four nights at the beautiful Savasi Island. It was our second stop off in Fiji and the best OS beach vacation we have had (and we've had a few!) The beautiful and hospitable Ma was waiting for us with Leis in hand when we arrived at the very small airport. She then took us on a short 10 minute drive through the mainland and over the bridge to the very isolated and stunning Savasi Island where we were greeted by the staff of eight who were singing and playing the guitar to their welcome song! As we got out of the car we were handed a coconut each as the staff tookour luggage and immediately my husband and I looked at each other both knowing we had found a very unique place that for the next four days would be a very relaxing home away from home! The scenery is seriously like something out of Jurrasic Park, the colours of the plant life and acqua lagoons really make you think a hollywood film crew has been in and landscaped it!

We stayed at the Reef Villa which overlooks the amazing blowhole and has an extremely large deck and its own wooden staircase that leads down to the amazing coral and colourful fish. A good deal of our time was spent soaking up the beautiful sunshine whilst reading books out there on the deck, snorkelling or walking around the islands various private beaches. All sporting equipment is provided, snorkels, flippers, life vests, reef shoes, kyacks, mountain bikes and they have plenty of it, every size etc. The beautiful Ma was there to take care of our every need, cocktails, tea/coffee, banana bread (yum), activity plans. My husband and I both enjoy good food, coming from Melbourne we are spoilt with very good quality dining options and we considered ourselves extremely spoilt by the mouth wattering cusine provided by 5 star chef ,Rusi, every breakfast, lunch and dinner!

We were lucky enough to be the only guests on the island aside from the owners who were absolutely delightful, it was our pleasure getting to know them. They were there to oversee the beautiful new villas that happened to be completed on our last day on Savasi. We were given a tour of the new villas and they are also stunning! Both have beautiful new pools and are built right on the cliff top, each with their own beach below. We are planning to go back (maybe next time with friends) and stay at either the Reef Villa or the new Villa with the infinity pool. On our last night the owners threw a traditional fijian lovo feast with the staff invited to thank them for their hard work in completing the new villas (and again ....yuuuuummm) and thanks to the fijian singing, dancing and kava we really felt we had experienced the real fiji!!

For us it was a second honeymoon (two in four years how spoilt!) We had a tremendous time and can't wait to go back. Do yourself a favour and book yourself into paradise!

"" OMG Paradise is all i can say, we spent 8 spectacular days there and was so overwhelmed by it's beauty. The staff, the accomodation, the food, the views and the list goes on and on, This resort is amazing. Wake up to the sound of the ocean, see the sunrise over the water, look out to the amazing palm trees and rain forest like gardens, It's exquisite. I'll definitely go back there for my next holiday.

We have never felt so at home as we did with Ma, Rusi, Moses and the rest of the crew. This is a place where you can be left alone to do your own thing, or have activities planned out throughout the day. The rest of the reviews captured what a special place Savasi Island is as a location, from the sunsets to the kayaking and the reef-walks, and this is all very-much true. Beautiful scenery, lots to do - fun times. I would come back to the Island just for that, but for us we can't wait to return for other reasons.

First, the staff are among the most sincere, sweet and caring people that we have come to know. The best times we had at Savasi were spent at the house with Ma and Rusi, or with Moses on an activity. My wife was literally brought to tears from their hospitality, and it was just plain humbling to spend time with them all.

Also, the food is amazing! To frame this statement, we travel around the world and spend most of our energy finding great food. In fact, living in San Francisco itself causes you to be a foodie. Well, Rusi is a master. Every single meal was creative and, well, perfect. He takes such care and pride in what he serves, and spending time watching him create added to the experience.

I have never written this before, but if you value great food and sincere, authentic people and experiences, this is a must-stay location. The nightlife is limited to your group and the deck (which was perfect for us), and the activities are often do-it-yourself (which was great), but it all just comes together into a very special place!
