Just spent a great two weeks (5th - 19th Jan 2012) at the Ghazala Gardens. From arrival to departure the staff were excellent.
With the added bonus with using the facilities at the Ghazala Beach Hotel it made for a great experience. We have never seen a hotel kept so clean, they seem to be at it 24/7!
Being a predominantly Eureopean guest hotel approx. 65% it was great to have a guest relation team who represented all nationalities. They had Bianca & new Duty Manager Martin (mostly for the Europeans) who could also speak excellent English. They were fab!
For UK guests, it was Vikki she was excellent, nothing was too much for her. All our querries were answered immediately or requests in 1hour or so. Keep up the good work!
Regarding food, the hotel had an abundance of restaurants including al carte which you could also use on the All inclusive. They even had a bar & buffet restaurant at the Ghazala Beach Hotel for lunch and daytime drinks.
My wife who is a vegetarian was also told at anytime she couldnt find a hot dish etc that she only had to tell the matera-dee and they would make something suitable for her. We did this on two occasions and she was served very quickly and told "its our pleasure to serve you" EXCELLENT!
Propably, if they had a hot vegetarian corner then this could do away with this very small problem.
We have now stayed at 5 Red Sea Hotels in Egypt but we think this is the best yet, i.e. food, staff, location & not forgetting the Bar staff - thanks to Mohammond & Mustafa!
Minor points are that some areas of the hotel are a bit tired but this is soon forgotten when you see the wonderful hotel grounds especially when they are lit up at night.
We have already seen prices for next January from our Travel Agent and cant wait to go back.
Thanks & Best Wishes
