The title refers to the fact that in the sort of stage area there are 3 Pharaoh statues and a pair of feet that once belonged to the missing one. It sort of is in keeping with the hotel. which I must say we really like, but does need a bit of TLC and updating. We came for a second time and were not dissappointed. The food was better, superb home made soup everyday and a special Oriental night each week which was great. The food is better than okay, there is no pork obviously so you will not get bacon, sausage type UK breakfast but there are excellent fresh cooked eggs and omlettes however you want them, scrambled, burst, fried, slightly scrambled whatever. We loved the lunch and evening meals, various types of excellent potatoes, veg and rice plus grilled meat and stews. and although we planned to go out about 3 times each week there was no need, just went out once each week, rest of the time food was great, it looked good in the pay snack bar as well. Staff are really nice and helpful. We were all inclusive at a real bargain price of £13 per night each person, the drinks per day would have come to more than that and the beer and wine were more than fine! Rooms again a bit dated but comfortable enough and our shower was great so thats 75% of the holiday. The view of course to Narma Bay is the best in Sharm El Shek. There is a problem with noise about 2 or 3 times a week with these awful loud disco's they seem to think people want, the first night I thought it was the hotel next door so I set off at 3am to tell them to turn it off but as I kept walking to Narma Bay centre I realised it was comming from the town itself, incredible so if you book any hotel near Narma Bay you will have the same problem, its not just the Halomy, take ear plugs! Trip to the St Catherines monestery worth doing as you get to see lots of other places as well along the coast, we stopped for a great lunch is a quieter coastal place also Abu Lagoona particularly looks stunning. Plenty of good places to eat for a change in Narma Bay, Camel Bar good and as you walk anong this main St with the Camel Bar on your left, at the end of the St is another excellent restaurant, have the mixed grill, easy enough for 2. So there you are brilliant for a bargain week or two in November/December with guaranteed sun and no rain everyday and temps of about 30 degrees, we'll be back definitely.
Room Tip: If the room and shower etc is really awful just ask and they will change no problem.
