I apologise in advance for the very late review. We stayed here July 2011. The holiday from start to finish was fanatstic! Beautiful welcome from our transfer in to the hotel, greeted with cocktails and treated like royalty (felt like this alot on this holiday) Shown to our room (we didn't upgrade and weren't asked to so didn't bother) room was very spacious and lovely ground floor, down by the beach, a bit of a walk to restaurants but it is such a big complex it's just one of those things. The hotel has a lift whats runs from the beach right up to the lobby/restaurants so that is great, such a bonus. We arrived late at night after evening meal but were shown to a bar what was still serving food. All restaurants were great, food was always hot, fresh and lots of choice. Me and hubby had a try of everything. All waiters and waitresses were so polite and couldn't do enough for you. Restaurants had themes too which was a nice change if you were there longer than a week (we were there for 10 nights) You can also book the three other restaurants at reception. We tried these and they were fab. The shish (if i remember right) was nice, you sat on the floor but we found it very hot so we literally ate our meal and went back in to the lobby bar. Coffees in the lobby bar are lovely too. Beach was amazing and you can go snorkelling of the jetty, so many fish it is out of this world. We didn't sunbathe by the beach because we found it too hot at the time of year we went. We went to the adults only pool at the top of the hotel, lovely and relaxing, you have to get there early though to get a sun bed. It was my birthday whilst i was there, my hubby emailed them to let them know and they did not forget. I had a cake delivered to my room which was lovely and such a good touch. Room service is available but at a extra cost, still really cheap and lovely food. We went on one trip, the quad bikes sunrise, you are up mega early but worth the experience definatley! Think it was about £20 each, there was no one else with us so it was like a private tour. On my birthday night we payed extra and had a meal on the beach private, lit by cande light, own personal waiter and superb menu. All amazing, just wished we had booked it a bit earlier so it wasnt too dark. Taxi it to Naama Bay but make sure you agree a price before you get in, we went a few times and one time the taxi driver agreed the price then half way back to are hotel he started to say a different amount, we just told him no, handed him the note and got out (thankfully at our hotel and not on the side road) There is entertainment at the hotel but didn't really see any as we were often in the bar/restaurant/Naama Bay. Activities in the day too. Also spa treatments, a man comes around the pool and talks to you, this wasn't a problem he was very friendly.
I hope i have shared enough information with you for you to want to go to this hotel, it truely is such a nice hotel and i would love to go back. If i ever revisited Egypt i would definatley not go to any other hotel than this one. Thanks Kelly.

We rested at the hotel from January 29 to February 5
Overall - very pleased. The area, service, facilities, staff are excellent!
The program, honestly says, not very intense, but perhaps this is due to the fact that it was not popular time for restening in egypt. also there were few turists. But despite of it, we want to say that the animators are great! Always friendly, responsive, smiling, very sociable!

We had a week at this hotel towards the end of January. We were thrilled with this hotel. It is beautifully landscaped - so much better in reality than any of the photos convey. The facilities are very good - 7 pools, 2 of which are heated in winter, rooms are large and clean - and you can upgrade to a seaview room. The food is plentiful and varied in the main dining room, and there is an opportunity to eat in other restaurants which are part of the hotel, where the atmosphere is more intimate and service more personal. There are numerous bars, both in and outside, so you are never far from a drink, whether wanting to quench your thirst or looking for something stronger. There is a health club - we were offered massages, for example, (for which you have to pay) though we did not take up this option The staff are so helpful and cheerful - nothing is too much trouble. There are too many people to mention, but Engy in the dining room was outstanding - always showing us to a table with great courtesy and a ready smile. However, we did find the arrival process at reception lengthy - not helpful after a long trip. At present wifi is only available in the public areas with a payment scheme, but this is due to change in the middle of this year. This will be a big advantage.
We were impressed that the management at a cocktail party for small groups of guests were keen to find out our opinions of the hotel. We were able to make constructive comments, and our views were listened to and noted.
We would seriously consider returning to this hotel next year, and would be happy to recommend it to our friends.

“really good resort/hotel”

We both had a great relaxing week at the waterfalls, room with sea view was clean and spacious, eat dinner at all four of the Restaurants and stayed with all inclusive menu every night bar one, when we ate on the beach at the four elements (highly recommended) plenty of bars around pool and beach with willing staff (even bring drinks to you).The staff were all very pleasant and did not expect tips at all. Dived house reef 3 times its ok but don't expect yolanda.
In a nutshell clean rooms, good food,polite staff and sunshine can't go wrong.

Accepting that the hotel is not London 5 star we found it to be very good. The restaurant, cleaning and maintenace staff were all friendly and could not do enough.
The range of restaurants meant that even over two weeks the food was varied enough not to be boring with the inclusive wine and beer acceptable.
If you are on a standard package on arrival you will be asked to look at the upgrade option. Be aware the standard room they take you to is probably the worst in the whole complex. We upgraded because we thought the cost justified the larger room.
