Hotel itself is on a toplocation to go out in evening & night and chill out on the beach afterwards during the day. It's stiuated directly on the boarder of the vibrant Na'am Bay center, promenade and it's the beach. Consequently you'll hear the disco's till 4 AM in your room as all rooms of this hotel are see view also facing the center (foto). I recommend to be part of the action till 2-3 AM, so you can start your sleep enjoying back ground beats of disco Pacha (5 minutes walk). In the morning you can have breakfast till 10 AM. When you want to avoid this you should choose a hotel outside of Na'am Bay beach site.
FOOD REVIEW (half boarder): 'Breakfast' open buffet and cook baking eggs is excellent, great and large variaty (only missing fresh orange juice), constantly filling up, clean and free dinks. On the other hand 'Dinner' starting a bit late for me at 7 PM was only fair, you have to pay all drinks, cheap open buffet ingredients, some days not sufficient heated, but you can fill your belly as there's always enough till closing at 10 PM
SERVICE REVIEW RESTAURANT: it won't take more than a minute before remaining platters, glasses, forks and knifes are taken away, only sometimes they forget to clean or refresh the table cloth, but there are enough tables to wich you can change to. Staff is friendly, only cooks for dinner (baking 1 ingredient each day) can be sometimes a bit disciminating giving best peaces to there own culture and/or ladies
SERVICE REVIEW RECEPTION: This is fully dependent on who's standing there, I want to thank 'Ahmed' for his excellent service, he's customer friendly, intelligent, polite and decent, what I can not say about some other employees on the desk, depending on the day changing between good, average to poor, even one day a guy wouldn't contact or phone my tour operator and gave the sign I have to take care for it myself.
GENERAL SERVICE: Most people in the hotel are friendly when you say hello and will respond on your contact within their abilities.
ANIMATION: Not professional, but they can keep you busy full day when you or they find some people to take part of it, there's a plan at a board on the beach every day.
BEACH: In the description of the hotel it specifies there's a road between the hotel. It's just a small clean road used for pick ups (no traffic), at the bottom of the stairs of hotel enterance, continuing on the other side of this small road to the swimming pools, then beach for which you get a free towel. There are more than enough laying chairs on the beach, only the beds are sometimes occupied by customers putting there reservation towels on it as from the morning on a good sunny day. The beach can be sometimes very windy, you can walk and swim into the water but no reef for snorkling (to find by some neighbours or excursion). This hotel has one of the most spaceous sandy beaches, and room to relax what you can't say when you do a 20 minute walk around the complete Na'am Bay beach, looking how many other hotels on the beaches push there customers together like sardines in a can.
You need to be resistant against loud music on the beach, played in bits in peaces, constantly changing volumes, from the morning Buddah Bar CD's & commercial Dance till the evening commercial dance with some short breaks to catch a breath. But this issue is typical for all hotels on the vibrant Na'am Beach center, one more than another.
ROOM 510 (superior = second best): Cleaned daily, complete, good measurements, functional, free safe, large flat screen, hot shower with good pressure even on this highest floor (only the most expensive room type has a bath in contradiction to the tour operator's website and vouchers). All balconies have an overview of the city and it's beach (see view) as it's situated on the boarder of the center on the beach.
EXCURSIONS: I recommend going outside and discuss with local tour operators a bit futher in the street, as prices can be half till 1/3 of your own tour operator. You'll do the same things, only the comfort can be a bit less. Also evaluatie the risk in case something could happen. I had no issues and all guides were friendly an helping. Don't forget to tip guide and driver as they depend on it as part of there salaries (even on a day trip booked by Neckermann there was a paper hanging on the bus: tip should be at least 50 LE (Egyption Pound)
CONCLUSION: Recommended for people who want a decent 4 star hotel, taking breakfast only, enjoying the beach, having lunch on the nearby promenade and going out in the evening till late hours in the most vibrant part of Sharm El Sheik
