Stayed for a week and feel that this was a 3.5 stars at best. The rooms were very nice and we paid for sea view which we got . The bathroom was rather basic and a bit of modernisation can make this a really nice hotel. The 3 ladies in concierge were very helpful. The guys in reception were very abrupt , but we found Martin rather helpful.
The food in the main restaurants were ok, but advise people to turn up early as it does get cold. The omelettes though freshly made were barely passsable.
The night entertainment was rather good and the lady singer was very good and she took some requests. The hassle for massages was rather off putting.
They dont seem to understand that no means no.
The evening restaurent needs to be booked in advance but the food is divine. The waiters are just lovely and the manager was very friendly.
Avoid the Disco. Its a full house when two people show up. The DJ does not care about the people in the disco, plays what he wants.
During the week we were there, a lot of Italian teens were in the hotel and were very noisy till about 12.30 then they disappeared.Lots of Russians as well, they seem to stare a lot at anyone who wasnt Russian to the point of rudeness.
This hotel can be a rather nice hotel if it is slightly modernised. This is in no way a 5 star hotel in its current state but if you are not used to 5 or more stars then you will be easily impressed.
