Gafy resort is a 4 star hotel located in Naama Bay in Sharm Elshaikh. I've stayed 4 days and 3 nights in the hotel. I was with my wife and son. We reached at about 2 PM. We received our rooms quickly after a simple drink compliment from Hotel. The rooms was clean and simple. A good advantage of rooms in Gafy is that most rooms are located in front of swimming pools, which allows you to get quickly to swimming pool from your room. There are some rooms that is not front of any pool, but they are currently creating new BIG pool for them.

In reception, they provided us with two cards for towels, which we give to service man beside pool or on beach to have two free towels. when we bring them back to service, we retrieve the cards.

The view inside hotel is great, which allows a very big set of photos with family in many places. there are also some bazars and shops inside the hotel which allows you to buy some souvenirs. In addition, there is a pharmacy.

Internet service is not free, and this is disadvantage since internet now is available any where through mobile carriers. The price inside hotels was 15 LE per hour if accessing from home and 40 LE per hour is accessing internet from lobby.

The restaurant of the hotel is big, most of the staff (like the service manager) is friendly. However, there are some disadvantages like those guys who collect dishes, they are not looking friendly, no smiles, no talking. May be few smiles and talking with tourists (non-egyptian), and that's all, and unlike their manager who is dealing good with anyone, and especially my kid. The food also is not good, especially for dinner, narrow selection of food categories, and some of them is not well done like Fish like provided to us on the second night, it was huge, but not good. In addition, the free drinks is not good like juices. Breakfast is good it provides a wide selection of food items, hot drinks, milk, and in addition to traditional egyptian food items.

On the second day, we had many activities in the hotel. first, we had a glass boat after breakfast. the glass boat was very good, introducing under-water world to us for about 45 minutes. very good experience.

Still on the second day, we tried the Jaccuzi of the hotel. It was really wonderful, which makes good massage to our bodies. The price was also very good, it was 60 LE for hour per person. 30 minutes is a good period for it, and will make you really relax. Only one comment, is that the jaccuzi is not private, and I think it may be also shared with some other guys. If they provide the same service with some privacy, then it will be excellent. I also asked for the Hammam (turkish hammam), and they have some good offerings for it.

The beach of the hotel looks good. It has many many beach seats, which indicates it will be very busy in the season.
