First impressions do not lie. From the moment you are picked up from Sharm airport you feel that you are in for a special stay at the Sofitel. Less than five minutes from the airport. Great reception staff. Walking from the reception area the view of the bay is breathtaking. White dome buildings, flowers and greenery everywhere. The water so blue. Everything is spotless, the pool is first class. Beautifull rooms all renovated with a touch of class. Breakfast is wonderfull. When we stay at the Sofitel we go out every night, its a pleasant walk to Naama where you have a great choice of hotels, restaurants and coffee shops. The evening buffet at the hotel ia quite good but expensive for my taste. The beach and pool are fantastic. Colorfull fish are everywhere. The staff is first class, from Hamada, Firo, Karim, Amr just to name a few. Lets not forget Mr. Hassein at the fitness center who will give you the best massage of your life . If you like horses you will be impressed with the stables on site and the super staff. The Sofitel is My home away from home when in Sharm....See you there..

A week full of energy recovery and relaxation. The hotel has a unique location allowing to every guest an amazing view while it is in a walking distance from Naama Bay and the night life. Very friendly animation team, cleanliness overall very good, breakfast not so good. Hard to find a clean table with a complete set-up after 09.00 hours and service team looks understaffed or not well trained. For such a resort the buffet breakfast options could be better. The Indian and the Oriental restaurant were a very pleasant experience.

Sofitel is located on the north side og Naama bay, - on the "quiet" side.
Rooms are nice, and reasonable equipped.

Staff is nice, even with my 26 kg dive bag.

When something unexpected in the room happended we got a new room within minutes.

The onsite Indian restaurant is worth trying, - also for external guests.

My wife and I have just returned from 12 nights at the Sofitel in Naama Bay which we booked direct. We have stayed with Sofitel previously, the last time being in Thailand and are well aware of their high standards. The Naama Bay Sofitel did not disappoint!

From the moment we were collected by their courtesy car from the airport, we could not have been better taken care of. A welcome drink on arrival, swift check in, bags delivered to our room, which had a wonderful view over Naama Bay, the gardens and the beach.

The guy on reception, when photocopying our passports, noticed it was my wife’s birthday the following day and wished her a Happy Birthday and, the next afternoon a cake and Happy Birthday letter were delivered to our room, compliments of the Manager – what service!

The hotel and grounds are spotless, gardeners and cleaners work constantly and the buffet at breakfast is superb. We also opted for two of their themed buffet evenings, which did not disappoint at all – the chef was on hand and took delight in explaining the dishes on offer. We also visited the in house Indian restaurant The Rangoli (twice!) and we both agreed that the food was the best Indian we had ever tasted. The view from the Rangoli’s terrace across Naama Bay at night was amazing.

The staff were all incredibly friendly, my wife had several massages in the Health Club of the hotel and was very impressed. The beaches, all of which are for the hotel guests only, are well furnished with lots of sunbeds and parasols as is the pool area and, like the rest of the hotel, is spotlessly clean.

The service we received was second to none and what we have come to expect from the Sofitel group – a quick mention to the waiters and staff such as Usama and Hany (breakfast), Mustafa & Maria (Health Club), Abd (Pool Bar) Mahmood (beach bar), Mohamed (our cleaner) – thanks for making our stay such a great one! The Sofitel is a real jewel of Naama Bay!
