We travelled 22nd Jan to 5th Feb 2012.We are used to large all inclusive hotels in Egypt and are known to stick with the same hotel to avoid dissapointment at other hotels. So when we booked Xperience Sea Breeze we were a bit sceptical !!!! WOW!!! We were not dissappointed thats for sure!!! Our room was a twin room on block 14, this was at the top of the hill and yes it is a hill!! But once your up the hill its flat walking to the reception area, the hill is from the beach to block 14. Our room was on the ground floor and we couldn't of asked for a better room!!! On our patio we had two sunloungers two chairs and a table!!! But the best bit was the pools!!! There was a low level pool with a small pool to the left and then two pools just above these pools that the water flowed over and into the lower pool. There was a few more blocks with small pools ouside. One large pool on the way to reception with a water slide and one large pool near the beach which they did all the games. Just behind this active pool was a small shallow pool which was an absolute suntrap if you managed to get near the pool!! Ok the beach isn't much of a beach as it is man made levels but has plenty of sunbeds with parasols. The jetty is great - it takes you out to where you can snorkel and there is lots of coral and fish to see. On the beach there is a bar and pool towels. Boat trips, banana boats and diving trips can be booked on the beach if your feeling adventurous! At the active pool you can take part in all the games if you want - morning stretching, aqua aerobics, water polo, crazy darts, yoga. belly dancing and more!!! Said at the pool bar ensured you had plenty to drink - well when he wasn't having to guard his stock from greedy guests, he would bring drinks to your sunbed. The pool boys were happy to ensure you had your favourite sunbed with towel art ready every morning for you, and you could have two towels each, one for the bed and one for a head rest - nice touch. The Elements resteraunt was open for lunch and served snack food such as pizza, chips, burgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, roast beef sandwiches and salads. This was waiter service and was nice if you didn't want to go back to reception area to the main Tiran resteraunt. On an evening Elements resteraunt was available to book at an extra charge. Zen bar was next to Elements and they showed football on an evening. The main Tiran resteraunt was above reception and there was a lift if you needed it. Tiran restaraunt was open for breakfast lunch and evening meals. Breakfast was cereals, toast, croissants, pastries, cheeses, cold meats, yoghurts and fresh fruits then there was fried eggs, omlettes, tomatoes etc. Tea and coffee was available and served at your table. We ate at the beach everyday so can't comment on lunch but evening meals were different theme every night on a two week rota. Yes some dishes were repeated but it was all very good standard. Soups, salads-the best selection of salads I've seen. Always steamed vegetables and a couple of choices of meat, rice and potaoes etc. The chefs station had meat or fish which they would serve to you-we had quarter duck one night and freshly made sushi another!!! Also the usual pasta made to order. Fresh fruit and cakes, drinks were served to your table and the waiters dressed in costumes every night. The entertainment on an evening was just outside the reception area and as it was cold on an evening the patio heaters went down a treat. You could sit up on the roof terrace above the Tiran resteraunt at the shisha bar, they served food up here on an evening at extra charge. Inside there was Your Bar to sit and have a drink in the warmth. The hotel ground is long and narrow and there is a steep hill but the hotel runs a mini bus from reception to the beach all day if you dont want to walk but to be honest it was a ten minute walk from the beach to reception and after all that lovely food we enjoyed the exercise!! In the room we had a flat screen tv, fridge and kettle. Every day we had water delivered and the tea and coffee replaced, but the drinks in the fridge was extra. The service was of high standard throughout the hotel and was very nice. We would definately go back and we were definately pleased with our Xperience!!!!!
