I chose to stay here based on positive previous reviews and was a little disappointed.
The B+B itself is beautiful with each room themed on an animal from Galapagos. We grabbed a taxi from the airport and found the location of the B+B handy for the beach and interpretation centre. We stayed for just 1 night in the Lobo (sealion) room which is the cheapest option (still expensive compared to other options on the island) and which was small but spacious and with a well proprtioned en-suite shower room. The room was very clean and beach towels were provided for use by guests.
Breakfast was included, offering fruit, pancakes, fruit juice and local coffee. It was very nice and a good opportunity to meet other guests in the communal dining area. It also brought about the opportunity to practise some Spanish with Luis, the builder of the property. The owner Patricia was very helpful in giving information on places to see and eat on the island and was very welcoming.
The stay was however slightly over shadowed however by the ongoing dispute between the owner and the carpentry shop next door. The noise from the shop was ongoing throughout our Sunday stay and grew very annoying (especially as my partner was unwell and wanted to sleep). However, when the owner called the police to complain and tried to involve me I was not very happy.
If the carpentry shop is allowed to stay open it may take away the peace from the B+B which would be a great shame.
Although the property is beautiful I would not choose to stay here again until the issues with the neighbour have been resolved
