This hotel is definitely past its prime. We negotiated a rate with breakfast and internet included, but the air conditioning didn't work on the floor with the internet. Half the team chose rooms with aircon and no internet, but the elusive manager was never available to take out the $20 per night we were paying for internet. Breakfast got smaller and smaller every day, but the price remained $15. Shower pressure was bad, the water stayed brown for a while, and the rooms are in desparate need of refurbishment. If you are staying in Abidjan for a long period of time, these things will wear on you. There are other smaller hotels without amenties like pools and tennis courts, but they have clean, comfortable rooms for half the price. Don't let anyone tell you the neglect at the Golf is normal.
