“Beautiful, but crowded”

Tayrona definitely lives up to the hype. That said, be mindful of when you visit. I thought we stumbled upon Occupy Tayrona, but it was just the campsite for El Cabo. We stayed at the more chill campsite (the one before Arrecifes). It was a hike to Arrecifes and Cabo from the camp, but the peacefulness at night made it worth it. Plus, the food at that camp site seemed cheaper.

“A little piece of paradise, but you might have to share”

This park is diverse, interesting on several levels and still under developed. The beaches if you are there early are worth walking as far away as possible from the parking area... You'll have fewer people trying to sell you things or disturbing you while you take in the view, the breeze and the sounds of softly rolling waves....lovely
