Acabo de llamar al Hotel Dan de Medellín, somo 3 familias que queriamos pasar 5 noches incluyendo la fiesta de San Silvestre y cual fue mi sorpresa al saber que una familia como la mía que incluye papa, mama y dos hijos no se pueden hospedar en este hotel, porque simplemente las habitaciones no estan aptas para más de 3 personas.
Realmente me parece inclreíble!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't generally stay in large, "luxury" hotels but I found myself here for a work-related conference. The hotel is ideally located on a hill just south of the Zona Rosa, where many of Medellin's best restaurants and nightlife can be found. Staff was helpful and courteous, rooms were comfortable and clean, and the facilities (pool, gym, meeting rooms, etc.) were all very nice. The view of Medellin from the 15th floor conference room is pretty spectacular.

I don't have any significant critiques or gripes; it's a great hotel, just not where I'd stay if traveling on my own. Also, take its self-proclaimed "five star" rating with a grain of salt: it may a five-star hotel in Colombia, but it's not on the five-star level for the USA or Europe. That said, it was an ideal location for the conference I attended and I really enjoyed my stay there.

Great place, stayed there 3 weeks. pool is beautiful. gym is good for a hotel. rooms are nice and clean. hotel location was great, you can walk to Parque LLeras.
They have 2 rooms, king bed or 2 queen. The king bed is very firm, if you like it a little softer get the 2 queen room. Also make sure the soft part of the mattress is face up, they might need to be flipped. Also don't bring a late night guest home, it will cost you $50.

The hotel its very well located, near to a beautifull park and the "Zona Rosa" wich is a good part of the city plenty of restaurants and bars. All the hotel areas are very comfortable, the pool is great and the city view from Tony Romas Restaurant on the 19Th floor , its amazing!.
