I read the reviews on this hotel before booking it and it had been highly rated for good reason. I am a female and was traveling alone and I felt so comfortable here. The owners and staff are warm, professional, and helpful. They gave me many tips for how to negotiate the city, for example what to pay taxi drivers. I really like the location of the hotel in Manga because it is quieter than being in Centro or Getsemane and yet, I could walk to these other places. The hotel is in an area that is clean, pretty and safe.
In the mornings, breakfast is served in the dining area. They served great coffee, fresh fruit and they were so accomodating to the fact that I have a gluten allergy. They gave me a choice of possible breakfast foods. I was out during the morning, studying Spanish. I usually came back in the early afternoon to take a swim in the pool which was super refreshing. And then I got ready to go out again.
My room was an inside room so it was extra quiet, which is important to me. The furnishings and art are attractive and pleasant and the overall feel is of elegance. All the comforts were there. It's a very friendly place and the staff are fun to talk with. I practiced my Spanish but in a pinch or when I was tired, the owners were there to speak to me in English.
I would come here again!
