We stayed 2 nights in Casa La Fe and enjoyed the stay very much. They staff is super nice and helpful in planning tours and making arrangements. The rooms are clean and the hotel is well kept. The beds are a little hard.

The breakfast was really good and included with the room. The small pool on the roof was great for cooling off on the 90 degree days.

This hotel is centrally located inside the walls of the Old City. It offers free use of the bikes for touring around the area. There was tons of restaurants within 45 seconds of the hotel. Free wifi. The hotel staff will provide a map of places to visit.

Overall a good choice. It is also one of the least expensive places inside the Old city. We paid about $165 per night when all other places were around $300.

We stayed two nights at Casa La Fe. Even during the short black out (across the entire city), the staff was pleasant and accommodating. We were a little nervous about staying on the first floor right outside the dining area, but it was really nice. It was a bit loud in the morning, so if you want a quiet morning, ask to stay upstairs. Still, the room was clean, the breakfast good and the happy hour was a nice touch. Also, the beds are very firm (which I love).

We stayed at this hotel for two nights and had a wonderful stay. It is located on a lively but not raucous plaza in the beautiful old walled part of Cartagena. The room was rather small but comfortable and the bathroom was clean. We were only able to reserve a room on the first floor off the main courtyard where breakfast is served and happy hour drinks are offered in the evening, so there was a lack of privacy in that regard and noise early in the morning. I would highly recommend reserving a room on the second or third floor instead. The service was very courteous, too.
