The hotel is well located and the staff is doing its best to welcome westener in the appropriate way. Although not all the staff is English speaking, they try their best to attend you in an efficient way. My room was located on the 26th floor. It was big and spacious although it had an "old" look because of the dark furniture, the moquette and the low power light. Clean, safe and comfortable at the end.

Great hotel..staff very good can struggle a bit with understanding English you need to talk slowly because when in china everything is slowly..it's the Chinese way..breakfast excellent..free wifi on floor 26 in excec lounge plus free use of all iMac machines all rooms hard wired only..

Have been here for receptions twice. The facility is appropriately grand and formal, and the staff is professional and appropriate. No great raves, but safe and familiar.

1) They lost my clothes in the laundry service and blamed it on me not giving them the laundry I had given them and then proceeded to search my room.

2) There was no wireless in the lobby. I ordered food, asked the waitress for wireless internet and she sent me to the concierge. The concierge sent me to the 4th floor business center. The business center said they only have 6 wireless logins for the hotel and they were all fully. I spoke with the Guest Services Manager and he said the same.

3) The reception desk couldn't provide change for a 100RMB bill.

4) The English level of the staff is the worst I have seen at an international branded in China.

5) The fitness center is old and equipment poor.

6) The rooms are old, boring and need to be refit.

7) The TV only worked half the time.

8) There is no wireless internet in the rooms.
