It's a lovely 5-star hotel consistent with Marriott standards. The fitness club (pool, dance studio, machines) and the locker area (shower, sauna, jacuzzi) are prime quality standard, though a minor complaint is that the pool room air and water are kept rather cold, which lessens the motivation to keep swimming as it's hard to warm up the body. I can recommend it when you are very hot just getting off the street on a hot summer day and really need to cool down. The sauna and bathing facilities in the locker room are the nicest.
The location is next to Sheraton Hotel, luxury class new tower block apartments and office buildings, but is not within walking distance for shopping or tourist points of interest (other than exploring the novelty of the neighbourhood).
Today, I could not find information about this hotel at Marriott's official site (perhaps in the process of management change?), but it seems you may still reserve the hotel via internet reservation sites, however.
The building is a curious gold colour with rounded gold domes at the tips, and the doormen appear to be of Indian descent wearing stereotypical uniform such as wearing high white turban on the head etc. I wonder if the concept of the hotel is meant to be like Taj Majal or something?
