Stayed on tour for one night.Lots of construction at the moment but we were out and about during the day. Location was close to the Grand Canal. Room was spacious and although the ubiquitous hard bed was present, fine. Free internet connection in the room was great. The breakfast was first class. We ate dinner in the restaurant and although vegetarian food on this tour hasn't been great the others seemed to enjoy the meal. Food was plentiful. Overall fine for a night's stay.

We moved here from a very unsatisfactory hotel just down the road. It was delightful. Very clean. Excellent restuarant.
Good location with an excellent shopping centre right behind the hotel. Very reasonable price.

Stayed in this hotel as part of a Wendy Wu tour. Hotel OK, clean and comfortable. However, it was a bit cold, we were lucky to be given an electric bar heater (don't think the heating comes on in China until 15 Nov). Water also a bit cold. Breakfast was included and was quite good.
If you go out of the hotel and bear right, down the pedestrian street, continue to the end, turn left and follow the lane until you get to a bridge you will end upin the Old Town. It is an easy, safe walk and particularly nice at night when the bridge, pagoda and canals are lit up - lots of good photo opportunities.
