This is easily one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The rooms are huge and very tastefully decorated. The bathroom has a large bath and separate shower. The king size bed has a great mattrass and there is a proper desk with high speed internet.

In addition there is a lounge area with couch and chairs. All in all it is great.

Unfortunately the lobby and some of the restaurants were being renovated during my visits but the restaurants which were opened were fine, especially if one is looking for western food for a change. While the breakfast is fine, it is not quite on the same standard as the rest of the hotel.

The hotel has a good fittness centre and heated indoor pool.

I will definitely use this hotel if I come to Zhengzhou again.

After check-in in the imposing 5 story lobby on the 8th floor, we were shown to our large L-shaped room with two sets of corner floor to ceiling windows, and cushioned window seats.

The small double bed was very firm but comfortable. The nonsmoking room actually was, which is unusual for China. It had a large bathroom and shower, and free wired internet.

The staff was better trained and had better English than the average hotel in China's interior.

The breakfast buffet had a huge selection of Chinese food, and a quite adequate supply of Western dishes, all of excellent quality. There was a fresh-cooked egg and noodle station.

Although the Yuda Palace is fairly new (perhaps 5 or 6 years), it's starting to show signs of the Chinese aversion to maintenance, like water damage by our room's spectacular windows. This didn't detract from our enjoyment of the place, and we recommend it to anyone visiting Zhengzhou.

The Yuda Palace is an oasis for travelers. The basic room is beautiful and so comfortable. The bathroom has a great big tub and a nice shower. No complaints about this hotel. The breakfast has something for everyone. From the traditional Chinese breakfast to European fair to American breakfasts, even a chef station to get eggs or noodles how you like. The sushi restaurant is delicious. The service is top notch. Simply a must for anyone traveling to Zhengzhou!
There is a spa/pool/sauna that hotel guests have free access too. This is the one feature I can not recommend. The showers in the spa facility were filthy to the point of smelling like a sewer. Felt like I had to shower again after using the facility.

An absolutely beautiful hotel by Chinese standards but the majority of local staff members in this Chinese owned hotel, simply stand by and do their jobs. Common areas are not as clean as they could be and would certainly be cleaner if more than a few staff members would actually do thier jobs. Very few people smile and even fewer can speak more than a few words of English -- including the front desk staff. Rooms are what would be expected in any good, three star hotel in the West -- well appointed and clean but nothing spectacular. The lobby is gorgeous with first class shops and facilities and restaurant service is what would be expected in a first-class hotel but with the exception of location (being virtually next door to city hall), either the Zhengzhou Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza or Sofitel Hotels make a better overall place to stay.
