The only confusing issue was - which Holiday Inn ..... apparantly there are 3 or 4 Holiday Inn hotels in the same compound. Took 10 minutes from the 1st entry - till I reached the correct Check-in counter. Hotel was compact - well laid out - excellent facilities.
Only negativity was that the Btreakfast was really over priced ! At 160 Yuan - it was not worth it !!

Hotel was ok. The set up there was confusing. Same property has Holiday Inn East & West, Holiday Inn Express and Crowne Plaza. It's like whichever property you walk in to check in will honor your reservation.

But the room was good, breakfast was ok, (at Crowne Plaza) service was adequate. If you have to go to Zhengzhou, any of these properties are fine. FYI: Lots of US families there to adopt Chinese children. Seemed kind of nice...

This Holiday Inn shares it's location with Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn Express. The Holiday Inn staff at reception have a trouble with English but they call on Marcy from Crowne Plaza with any problems and she is a lovely person, nothing too much trouble. The HI is a bit like a mausoleum as there isn't much happening there, it is linked by internal passage to Crowne Plaza where all the restaurants,gym and pool are. Rooms are OK. Not huge but adequate and the bathroom although small was nice and clean. All the usual amenities. Weather was awful while we were there so can't say much about the immediate surroundings.

This hotel is adjacent to two of their group hotels - Holiday Inn express and the Crowne Plaza; a little confusing at the start.....East wing, west wing...but once you settle down, you know that you are at home.
